Hi! I’m Deborah!

Welcome to Murder, She Blogs! I’m the founder and curator of this platform. My journey into the world of true crime began at a young age, sparked by a school project on the infamous case of Evelyn Dick, known as “The Torso Murder”, which gripped my hometown of Hamilton way back in 1946. From that moment on, I was drawn into the intricate webs of mystery, justice, and human psychology that true crime encompasses.

For me, true crime isn’t just a fascination, it’s a passion. When I’m not working, you’ll often find me immersed in researching current murders, cold cases, and missing persons. Each story, each case, holds a unique puzzle to solve, a narrative to untangle and justice to pursue. But here’s the thing – I’m not here to deliver a dry, textbook analysis. You won’t find any clinical dissertations or jargon that you can’t understand. Instead, think of it as grabbing a cup of coffee with a friend who shares your fascination for the darker side of human nature. We’re here to explore, to speculate and to unravel the tangled web of motives and madness that lies at the heart of every gripping crime.

One aspect that particularly resonates with me is the plight of missing persons and the families left behind, yearning for answers and closure. On a personal note, my journey into the world of true crime took on a whole new meaning when, years ago, my own child went missing for a couple of heart stopping hours at just 18 months old. That experience, though thankfully brief, left an indelible mark on me, driving home the importance of every missing person’s story and the profound impact it has on their loved ones. Their voices, their stories, drive me to shine a light on their struggles and advocate for justice on their behalf.

At Murder, She Blogs, we strive to maintain a professional yet down-to-earth approach. Our goal is to provide a platform where the truth is sought, justice is advocated for, and the voices of victims and their loved ones are amplified.

Join us on this journey as we dive into the rabbit hole of true crime, uncovering the stories that need to be told and seek justice for those who deserve it most. Who knows? Together we might just crack a case. Thank you for joining me on this journey and being a part of the Murder, She Blogs community!
